Laing + Simmons
We reviewed the then franchise documents for Laing + Simmons and recommended some modifications to ensure the group had the powers required to maintain compliance and consistency across the franchise network. Baybridge team members were required to assist the Laing + Simmons team with negotiations on specific terms of the franchise agreement and the recruitment process.
With growth comes some interesting challenges and the legal team were dealing with franchisees that had not embraced the brand and were required to exit the network. We assisted Laing + Simmons in delivering outcomes that were to the benefit of the group.
In 2013 and 2014 assisted the group with a rebrand of the business across the country and assisted in converting a large Western Australian group to the Platinum network.
